In January 2024, we organized a vibrant Pongal celebration that brought together our sponsored children and their families. The traditional harvest festival was celebrated with enthusiasm as participants gathered to prepare fresh pongal in decorative pots. The ceremonial offering included the traditional sugarcane and newly cooked pongal, which was consecrated to honor the gods as per custom. Children actively participated in the cultural rituals, learning about important traditions while enjoying the festive atmosphere. Each child received specially selected gifts to mark the occasion and spread joy. The celebration provided an excellent opportunity for our community to come together, strengthen bonds, and pass down cultural heritage to the younger generation while creating cherished memories for everyone involved.
