In 2024, DEET supported vulnerable families in Bodidasanpatti village by providing safe and permanent housing. The project focused on elderly widows, woman‑headed households, and families living in unsafe mud or rental houses.
New houses replaced structurally weak shelters and improved protection from weather and health risks.
Beneficiaries gained secure living spaces that enhanced dignity and stability. After moving in, families actively upgraded their homes using their own resources. Improvements included plastering, painting, storage slabs, kitchen facilities, and room extensions.
