On 31 May 2026, the Development of Education and Environment Trust (DEET) marked a proud milestone in our women’s empowerment efforts. As part of our ongoing skill development initiatives, industrial sewing machines were provided to our Tailoring and Aari Embroidery trainees, while salon sofas and foot bath massagers were distributed to our Beauty and Wellness trainees. These essential tools represent more than equipment—they mark the beginning of each woman’s entrepreneurial journey, enabling them to start income generating work with dignity, confidence, and greater independence. With the right skills and the right tools, rural women are now better positioned to build stable livelihoods and strengthen their families’ economic resilience.
We extend our sincere gratitude to Women First International and Rebuild India for supporting this initiative. Your partnership continues to empower women to create stronger, self reliant futures, and your belief in their potential fuels lasting change in our communities.
