Organizations of Marginalized Women
The objective is to build up the capacity of the women to empower socially, economically and politically.
One of our Organization’s aims is to help women to become aware of their reality and collectively and consciously involve in fighting for their oppression and equality.
We have formed women Self help groups in the target villages. They are purely selected from the economically deprived villages.
- They have savings since the period of its commencement.
- They are practicing internal revolving loan within the groups.
- They have developed linkages to receive loan from Banks.
- Women are running Income generation activities.
- They have raised income from Rs. 50 to Rs. 100 per day in an average.
- The members are gradually learning to take up women’s right based issues and basic facilities.
